The most outstanding neighborhood in New Orleans is the Garden District. It is a collection of mansions of various styles specially built for the Americans in the 1800’s so they did not had to live close to those of European decent who majorly concentrated in the French Quarter area.
At the beginig of 19th century there was a rich family famous for its exorbitant parties at their French Quarter mansion in New Orleans. What the owner also became famous for was for being a serial killer in the 1830’s. The Madame Delphine and her third husband, Dr. Louis LaLaurie’s house is now considered one of the most haunted houses in the United States
The main thing that you need to have is Fashion’s Week Schedule and a ton of patience. Designers and most of the special guests will arrive and exit using the back entrance on Amsterdam Avenue.
